Baby Birds

I know this isn't the greatest picture, but I did the best I could holding the branches out of the way with one hand and holding the camera in the other and standing on the ladder. I almost fell off the ladder with my hands full and Momma bird flapping away at me on the gutter near my head. Ooops! At least the kids would've been home shortly and been able to rescue me. ;-)

The boys and I are loving having our new neighbors right outside our den window. It's in a small bush/tree near our front door. Scott on the other hand it tired of listening to the babies screaming all the time! ;-)

The other day it was almost time for Gunnar & Troy to get home from school so I went out to get the mail. On the way back inside I heard all the tweeting and realized it was coming from the tree right by the front door. I could see their yellow beaks wide open and straight up in the air and screaming for Mama to bring them their worms. By the time I got the camera and ladder they were quietly resting in the nest. I guess all that tweeting is hard work!

Gunnar & Troy enjoyed getting on the ladder and peaking in on them too!
