Gunnar's Birthday was a blast for the whole family. Gunnar was given a choice this year. A birthday party with his friends, or a $100 bill......He chose the money:) So we decided to take a family trip to Disney for the "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas" party on Thursday evening, 7pm to 12am. We stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel. So we left on Thursday, went to the hotel and played in the pool, later that night we went to the disney Christmas event. Around 9:00pm Troy started saying he was tired and wanted to go to bed at the hotel. gunnar started to be unhappy because he didn't want to watch the 10pm parade, he wanted to go on more rides...After the parade we got free cookies and hot cocoa and left.
The next morning the kids were up fairly early. We new they would be tired this day, so we gave them the option of going to Universal's Islands of Adventure, or stay at the hotel and play in the pool and slides, and play in the arcade. They chose to stay at the hotel, which initially shocked me, but we were all tired and wanted a lazy family fun day. I had a great time chasing Troy on the slides. Two little, but older than Troy girls were chasing us.
Overall, we had a nice time. It helped us enjoy the time of year.

Loved the Nickelodean Hotel when we were there with Chris,Amy and boys...would like to do that again sometime. Wow Tina what a great family photo....I want one....See you in a few days...Aunt Deb
